I published over 50 papers with contributions in problem solving and learning in dynamic and evolving representation spaces, mixed-initiative interaction, multi-agent systems architecture, collaboration and coordination, abstraction-based reasoning, knowledge representation, knowledge acquisition and multi-strategy learning.

I have a long knowledge engineering experience in multiple civilian, military and intelligence analysis domains, including: higher-order thinking skills, military planning, course of action critiquing, military center of gravity analysis, emergency response planning, intelligence analysis and medicine.

I am the main architect of the “Disciple” family of agent shells, with extensive software engineering, programming and knowledge engineering experience.

I have received several awards and recognitions including the Innovative Application Award from the American Association of Artificial Intelligence, Outstanding Student Award from George Mason University, several certificates of appreciations from US Army War College, USAWC Center for Strategic Leadership, and Air War College.

I have been direct responsible for around 2 million dollars in grants and contracts from AFOSR, AFRL, NSF, and other government agencies.
