Inquiry-based teaching and learning is recognized as being very effective but difficult to use in the practice.
With support from the NSF's "Improving Undergraduate STEM Education" program, we have developed a cognitive assistant, called sInvestigator (science Investigator) that greatly facilitates the development of a wide variety of inquiry-based experiences for teaching and learning critical thinking skills.
We provide information on using sInvestigator as well as exercises for a variety of disciplines and educational levels.
